Active Folate, Vitamin K2, and Glutathione Seminar 2022 coming to Indonesia and Vietnam

Folate plays an essential role in cell division and DNA synthesis and is involved in human growth and development. For women, this deficiency can cause health issues.
Unfortunately, people are not always informed of the differences in the folate form.
The folic acid that is found mostly in vitamin supplements and fortified food is a synthetic folate form, which is not part of food folates. To exert its biological action, it must be converted to the metabolically active form, the 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), through a multi-steps enzymatic reaction pathway.
This multi-steps conversion can be not 100% effective in some people, due to a specific genetic trait of them, with a polymorphic form of the enzymes involved in particular methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR).
Moreover, several studies have reported an increase in serum of UnMetabolized Folic Acid (UMFA) levels since the implementation of folic acid fortification, with possible concern about its potential ‘overdosing’ and adverse effects.
In addition to pregnancy and fertility health, the webinar will offer opportunities to explore how Quatrefolic® can support Elderly, Cardiovascular, Menopausal, and Mood Health.
